Equipment

The "MV Sea of Fantasy I" is designed entirely for the needs of divers. A large, partially canopied sun deck and a spacious salon with TV and DVD-player offer lots of room for our guests. A large, roofed dive deck guarantees room enough for the diving equipment of our guests. Here you can also find lockers for your personal belongings. Underwater cameras and scooters can be rented.

GPS, bathometer, fish-finder, telephone, radio, communication equipment, and safety gear like life vests, first-aid kit, oxygen units, and fire extinguishers are part of the standard equipment.A security camera is on the dive deck. With a comfortable Dinghi you can visit the beaches.

Drink & Food

The ship’s cook freshly prepares 5 Thai meals per day. Tea, coffee, and drinking water are included in your travel price. Additional drinks like beer or soft drinks are available at a low price (e.g. 1 can of beer ca. 60 Baht, soft drink ca. 30 Baht).

Accomodation

The ship is designed for 15 passengers in 8 fully air-conditioned single and twin cabins as well as 2 master twin bed cabins with private toilet and shower. Additionally, 4 bathroom / WC. All bathrooms have hot water. We are proud of our unaccompanied guests 3 single cabins on the MV Sea of Fantasy 1 to offer. This is found on the liveaboards to the Similans very rare! Also are on the whole boat no bunk beds or 4 people cabins. Pure luxury for individuals and couples to your cabin all to herself alone!

Diving equipment

2 coltri sub compressors (2 x 225 l/min) fill the 30 tanks (12 l Alu INT/DIN – 15 l Alu INT/DIN). For guests that own a machine with a DIN connection, we provide DIN to Yoke adapters for free. For emergencies, 4 complete reserve diving gears are available onboard. Rental equipment in all prevalent sizes is available at all times without reservation, as it can be rented at the boat’s own dive base in Khao Lak before checking in on the ship (complete set including jacket, regulator, ABC equipment, and diving suit 500 Baht/day; dive computer extra 500 Baht/day, digital camera 1.000 THB / day ). A Nitrox filling station is available onboard without additional charge.

Diving

Depending on the number of guests, there are always at least 2 diving instructors or 1 diving instructor and 1-3 dive guides onboard. A dive group consists of 4 divers at most.

Higher-level dive courses, as well as special courses (e.g. current, navigation, Nitrox, etc.) according to PADI and CMAS guidelines, are offered on demand. Dives with Nitrox are possible.

The tours start on the evening of the first day with the departure from the harbour. The tour last 3/4 nights and 3/4 dive days. On the afternoon of the 3rd/4th day you return to shore.
